Service Design Studio from the NYC Mayor’s Office Turns One and We’re Celebrating with Them!

The Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity, NYC opportunity, launched the Service Design Studio a year ago to make public services more accessible to all New Yorkers. With their small but powerful team of four they have surpassed their own expectations and have truly been making an impact. The NYC Service Design Collective looks forward to helping them celebrate by inviting them to share their vision and story after a year’s worth of hard work!

The Service Design Studio at the New York City Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity is the first-ever municipal service design studio focused on improving services for low-income residents. The Studio’s team of creative strategists partners with public servants at New York City agencies and offices to integrate the voices of the people who use, deliver, and administer public services into the design of programs and policy.
